Made this for a my friend Artemis K. Katt. Tybalt is a character he created for an X-men RPG.

Hair color: Long black hair, flowing to his mid back with 3 inch long red tips

Eye Color: Very light blue, so bright that it seems odd they're not darker considering his powers over shadows.

Attire: He wears a tight, button-up black shirt[which almost always hangs open for some reason] that flows down to his black denim jeans, though he somtimes wears tighter clothes like skin-tight shirts and black leather pants, various chains always hanging from the belt loops of whatever he's wearing. Basically, all of his clothes are black, straight down to the black sneakers at the end of his pants. He usally wears acessories such as spikes wristbands and a loose spiked collar.

Personality: Still very untrained in controlling his powers, he doesn't know how much his powers can truely do yet. He loves to cause some mischief, at any means possible. He doesn't really respect authority since he grew up around who he believed were complete morons. If ever in a bad mood, he'll either pull a few pranks to cheer himself up or just lock himself in his room and listen to some music, play on the internet or even somtimes play old school video games. He can play the keyboard rather well, but usally would rather listen to music then play it himself. His moods are very unstable and can be hanging out laughing with others and just suddenly get very pissy, wanting to be alone. He hates being out in the daylight, but is growing to accept going out at times other than in the dark of night.

Tybalt's powers are still young and he hasn't been able to make much use of them yet. He has however learned how to..:

A shadow-like circular shield appears across his palm and has a 25 inches radius. This shield can decrease light-based energy attacks agaist him by 40%, but that percent will grow as he trains this power, as well as the radius of the shield will expand slightly. He can hold this shield for only 10 out of 30 minutes when it's being assulted by Light-based attacks, and 15 minutes in normal conditions.

A much lighter shield appears around him, but it has a radius of 5 feet, but it only blocks out 15% of the energy attacks that hit it. This is to protect the people around him, but it tires him out alot quicker than, letting him only hold this up for 5 out of every 30 minutes while being assulted, 10 when in normal conditions.

This isn't really used for fighting, but more for just during recreation. When activating Shadowcasting with his fist balled up, his can dim the lighting around the area near him, just enough to provide a light shade at his low level, but as he progresses in growing this power, he'll be able to make the area around him darker and darker and even increase the diameter around him. He can control the size up it by how tightly he clenches his fist when the power is activated. For example, when his fist is lightly clenched, it can just spread out about 2 feet, but when tightly clenched in can reach about 6. Anyone outside of this area can clearly see that the light doesn't affect this area as much as where they are and can even see a tent in the air around him. Since this isn't used for fighting, he is able to hold it out for about 20 minutes at a time when lightly clenched, 15 when tightly.

He can't simply hold the shield up for 10 minutes then switch to his area-shield though. His power charges itself back up every 30 minutes, if used or not. It breaks down into 20 out of 30 minutes like this.

Open Fingers: Uses up 3/30 minutes worth of his power every minute while being attacked, 2/30 minutes when not.

Closed fingers: Uses up 6/30 minutes worth of his power for each minute while attacked, 3/30 when not.

Fist: Lightly clenched - 1.5/30 minutes worth of his power. Tightly - 2/30 minutes of his power.

This means, during a battle, he could be defending himself from the enemy, using his self-only shield for about 4 minutes using up 12/30 of his entire power, then his can move back to a group of others and switch to his area-shield for 3 minutes, using up the last bit of his power. Now his power is drained out after only 7 and he won't be able to use Shadow Casting for another 23 minutes when his power recharges. In the same since, he could have protected himself only for 10 minutes, using up all his power for that 30 minute time period.

2a. As the power description states, Tybalts can cause Shadows to grow larger or shrink back to their origin, increase[but not decrease] the density of any shadow as well as make it rise into a 2D form to perform light tasks, as well as others.

2b. Tybalt can cause shadows to expand 10 feet in any direction, or spread out all around, equally, or decrease it 10 feet, which will usally trace back to it's origin, as if the light causing the shadow were right above it, causing no shadow at all. He can use this to decrease his or other's shadow's to move stealthly without their shadows alerting anyone. As his power grows, the ability in which he can increase or decrease shadows will grow.

2c. Tybalts can also increase the density of a shadow by 5 levels, but is unable to decrease the density, or at least he hasn't trained to. He perfers the dark and hasn't seen the need to attempt to. [I've included a small scale of 30-shaded scale of white to black.] As his power level increases, the amount of which he can increase density of shadows grows as well, and maybe if he's convinced to train to do it and through much effort he'll learn how to decrease the density of shadows.

2d. Tybalt can make a 4 foot, 2D shadow rise from the shadows near him, weather it be natural or ones altered by his own powers, but must concentrate on it[keep it in his sight and on his mind] or it returns to a normal shadow once again. If it is destroyed, he will not be able to make another for at least 20 minutes, and it greatly weakens his phyisical abbilites until he may rest in darkness for at least an hour. With extreme concentration, he can create two 3 foot tall 2D shadows, but it puts a huge strain on himself and if they are both destroyed, his will fall weak for at least 3 minutes, but even after he'll be physically weaker until he can sleep in pure darkness for at least 5 hours. These beings can attack enemies like regular humans their size with an above avarage strength and can also grab and hold enemies for short ammounts of time, but can be broken free from rather easily. [a human who can bench only 150lbs can break the hold rather easily] They can be be destoryed by having enough light shone down on them to completly erase the shadow, but can be weakened just be by being lightened up enough. As his power level increases, the shadows height and strength will grow and he will eventually be able to create more images without as much a strain on his mind and body.

2e. His power level only allows him to see through Denisity Level 15 as if it was were pure daylight. As his powers grows, he will be able to see through darker shadows.

2f. This power also grants him a 15% resistance agaist light based attacks. As his powers grows, his resistance will slowly grow more resistance against light based attacks.
